Our small quarry has an interesting history. In 1929 General Electric contracted to purchase quartz to construct a lens for the Mount Polamar Telescope in California. In the early 1960s granite was extracted and crushed for the roadbed under the new Route 1 between Brunswick and Bath. When Bowdoin College renovated the 1844 Richard Upjohn designed college chapel in the 1990s, damaged stones were replaced with granite from our quarry. Let us help you with your stone projects.
We design, construct and install granite structures, such as steps, patios, posts, benches and fountains.
We sell granite as is from the quarry, or custom cut to your specifications.
We can deliver to your site or arrange for pick up at the quarry.« Home
